I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the College of Saint Rose and briefly worked television production after graduation. In 2010 I went back to school for nutrition science. In Spring 2016 I graduated from The Sage College’s Didactic Program in Dietetics with a Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Nutrition Science. I’m also working on a Master of Science in Applied Nutrition from Sage Graduate School and will complete The Sage College’s Distance Dietetic Internship in June 2017 with an end goal of being a Registered Dietitian.
As a former overweight young adult, I know what it is like to struggle with weight. In 2008 I lost over 80 pounds by eating healthy and exercising regularly. I have the experience and knowledge on how to live a healthy lifestyle without feeling deprived. As a self-confessed former couch potato, I’ve grown to love most types of exercise and have discovered a passion for long distance running. I have completed over 25 half marathons and five full marathons, as well as many strenuous, long hikes in the rugged Adirondack wilderness.
I can help you make the changes you need to live the life you deserve!
